Salford supports mental health charity
The University of Salford Brass Band hosted a special concert to help support the invaluable work of the mental health and well-being charity 'Start in Salford'. The event was organised by University of Salford students and was directed by Conductor in Residence, Tom Davoren (pictured here). It forms part of on-going outreach programme that looks to strengthen links to the local community and organisations that do valuable work within it.
Tom commented: "We were so pleased that brass band enthusiasts from Greater Manchester and beyond joined us for this charitable initiative. The students have done a remarkable job to support the amazing work undertaken by 'Start in Salford' in helping people of all ages and backgrounds within their own community. It was a great night of entertainment with a fantastic selection of music and a host of talented performers."
