After picking up the Stanley Wainwright Memorial Best Instrumentalist Award at the ‘Open’, Helen went onto deliver a sparkling cadenza at the ‘National’ for which she received the Brass Band World Best Instrumentalist Award too - a remarkable personal ‘double’ on top of her band’s contesting triumph.
