Specialist brass band ‘opps’ at RWCMD

The Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama (RWCMD) offers brass band instrumentalists the opportunity to study on a BMus course with embedded specialist opportunities, provided under the guidance of the College’s Director of Brass Band Studies, Dr. Robert Childs.

Cory is Band-in-Residence at the RWCMD and, together with other multi-award-winning outfits such as Tredegar, features many graduates and students in its ranks. The RWCMD Brass Band meets regularly to explore repertoire and concert opportunities, with supporting lectures providing opportunities to develop skills in composing, arranging, conducting and adjudicating.
