Nicola Bland spotlights the Chicago Staff Band’s Principal Cornet - the lovely Beth Cooper, who also plays for Chicago Brass Band

Beth’s educational background includes a Bachelor of Music degree in trumpet Performance from the University of Louisville, a Master of Fine Arts degree in Trumpet Performance from the California Institute of the Arts and a K-12 Illinois Teaching Certificate from Trinity International University. She has served as Guest Artist for the International Women’s Brass Conference, been a special guest at music camps, and has been a featured soloist in the United States and abroad - appearances that have included performing with the Chicago Staff Band at the ISB120 Boundless International Congress in 2015, as well as at the North American Brass Celebration…
