New Zealand’s National Youth Brass Band (NYBBNZ), pictured at the Te Whaea National School of Dance and Drama in Wellington just prior to its concert there on 28 January, is formed each year from the nation’s most talented young brass and percussion musicians.

All under the age of 23 and selected annually from nationwide auditions of young band members from community-based brass outfits
